In the development of components, it is important not only to design components on a theoretical basis, but also to subject them to real tests. Our in-house prototyping enables us to transfer components from CAD 🖥 to reality ⚙ in the shortest possible time. Subsequent testing allows us to facilitate rapid iteration cycles 🔃, both for the improvement of associated test benches and for the pumps themselves.
Shown here are various iteration stages of a pump prototype from an SLA printer, FDM 3D printing 🖨 and milled aluminium components ⚙ for the drive. During design and production, it should be noted that not only the requirements from the hydraulic side are considered, but also the special challenges posed by blood 💉 as a pumping medium. In more advanced product stages, the manufacturability of the components and transferability to later series production processes also become increasingly important. 📈
